Control Solar Heat Gain with Style
Rich-blue Pacifica® glass is part of Vitro Architectural Glass’s (formerly PPG Glass's) collection of nautically inspired tints and can be combined with reflective Solarcool® or subtly reflective color-enriched Vistacool® coatings.
Combined with Solarban® 70 solar control low‑e glass in a one-inch insulating glass unit (IGU), Pacifica® glass can reach a solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) of 0.19 with a visible light transmittance (VLT) of 31 percent, which produces a light‑to‑solar gain (LSG) ratio of 1.63.
