Funyak named Director, Vitro Certified® Network and Project Management at Vitro Architectural Glass

PITTSBURGH, May 4, 2021 – Vitro Glass (formerly PPG Glass) announced that Joanne Funyak has been appointed director of the Vitro Certified® Network and project management at Vitro Architectural Glass.

In this new role, Funyak will oversee the Vitro Certified® Network, which provides high-performance coated glass through regional fabricators and glass manufacturers who are dedicated to delivery of quality fabricated glass with short lead times. Through Funyak and her team, members of the Vitro Certified® Network have access to some of the industry’s most advanced training and education on glass handling and fabrication. In addition to helping member companies ensure reliable product performance and the highest levels of quality and color consistency, the program also provides them with priority access to advanced Vitro Glass products.

Funyak holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Slippery Rock University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Duquesne University. Funyak has worked at PPG since 1985 and has been a part of Vitro’s flat glass business segment since the company acquired PPG in 2016.
